The world’s best freestyle footballers are coming to the O2 as part of the F3 World Tour 2014, in association with BT Sport, on Wednesday 22nd October.
Each of the world’s top 16 freestylers will be looking to wow the crowd with their stunningly choreographed routines in the battle to be crowned the World Freestyle Football Champion 2014.
Andrew Henderson from the UK will be looking to maintain his challenge for the title after winning the first stage of the 2014 tour in Beijing back in June, whilst a strong Polish contingent and Charly Iacono from Argentina, will be out for revenge after narrowly losing out in China.
This event brings you the extreme in football entertainment, as the highest ranked athletes in this new sport present a mixture of fine choreography with music, intense tricks and moves in order to outperform their opponents on stage with a football.
Freestyle football is the art and sport of juggling a football, using all parts of the body to entertain audiences and outperform opponents. The sport is governed by the World Freestyle Football Federation (F3) who are based in London and manage the World Championship tour. The Federation operates across 92 countries and was created to grow freestyle football as a professional sport in its own right. It aims to deliver education to young people through the exciting tricks and the environment the sport creates – all you need is a ball.
